Aisha Hernandez Ahmed is a veteran public relations strategist and business entrepreneur building bridges between government, community, and Health. Aisha Hernandez Ahmed currently is the Operating Officer of Lectro Tech Systems, a startup leading green energy company, she is the first Latina to hold the post on this green energy project. Prior to this time, Ms.Hernandez Ahmed worked for the New York City Council, Northwell Health Hospital, served as President of The Bronx Hispanic Chamber of Commerce as well as the Executive Director for the Coalition of Hispanic Chambers. Ms. Hernandez Ahmed has experience in Communications, Fundraising and is currently an advisor for Pharmacy and Medical Health Businesses.
Ms. Ahmed is a U.S. Member of the Extended Congressional delegation for The Puerto Rico Status Act — fighting for equal rights and justice.
Ms. Ahmed served as an executive board member for the NAACP Parkchester Branch, Lions Club International, and is currently on the board of NYC Health & Hospitals, a former consultant for the National Puerto Rican Bar Association, and serves as Interim President for the Bronx Community re-entry Advisory Board. Ms. Hernandez Ahmed has been recognized by various organizations and elected officials and received the Marjorie Mathews Award from NYC Health & Hospitals and the Henry George School of Social Sciences Award of Excellence, Business, and Ethics.
Ms. Aisha Hernandez Ahmed was born in Puerto Rico and raised in New York.
